Hi, All!

I'm happy to announce that our team made it safely to Utah! 🎉

We had some minor adventures at the Chicago O'Hare airport when a few of the girls' carry-ons (their identity shall remain secret) were well-over the weight limit. But after some shifting around of contents, we were on our way once again. 

Utah is just beautiful and so different from the Midwest! The whole team was amazed at how gorgeous the mountains are. We ate a quick lunch in Salt Lake before we climbed into vans and started the hour-and-a-half drive up to Logan. Most everyone fell asleep on the drive since we had been up very early to catch our flight.

We arrived at the pastor's home where he gave us a very gracious welcome and set the expectations for the week. The church family had prepared a welcoming picnic at a near-by park, so we were able to get to know many of them while we enjoyed a delicious dinner.

Everyone has been divided into groups of four as we experience the hospitality of church members' homes. Tomorrow we will be up early as we hand out flyers about the soccer clinic.

Pray that we will sleep well tonight and be a blessing to our host families!
